Helping Teens Navigate Big Feelings, Identity, and Everyday Pressures
Teen Mental Health Support that Meets Them Where They Are
Adolescence is full of change and can be an intense time —emotionally, socially, physically, and developmentally—and sometimes it’s a lot. At Diaita Psychology, we support teens through the ups and downs of growing up, helping them feel heard, accepted, and more in control.
We provide specialised telehealth support for teens aged 12–18 who are struggling with anxiety, mood changes, food or body image issues, self-esteem, school pressure, or life transitions.
We work collaboratively with young people and their families to build insight, skills, and confidence and create a safe therapeutic space that’s genuine, empowering, and based in evidence, all through flexible, teen-friendly telehealth sessions.

We understand that every teen is different. We take the time to listen empathically and tailor an individualised approach to meet them where they are, and provide support for teens to explore, express and rebuild from what they’re feeling.

Support for Parents and Families
While we prioritise your teen's voice in therapy, we also support parents and caregivers to understand what is going on and how to help at home. We believe parents are key allies in their wellbeing. Depending on your teen’s age and needs, we’ll involve parents or caregivers to share insights, build strategies at home, and support your own confidence navigating tough times.
We also offer parent-only consults to guide you through challenges with empathy and evidence.

Parents can receive guidance on:
-
Co-regulation and communication
-
Supporting emotional development
-
Holding safe boundaries
-
Encouraging healthy independence
-
Collaborating when conflict or disconnection arises.
Together, we will build a bridge between where your teen is now - and where they want to go.
